It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I love Christmas time. And really my birthday doesn't have anything to do with it. I love all the music and the lights and the hot chocolate and cookies and Christmas movies and parties and the overall good cheer. I know, I sound like a little eight-year-old girl. That's okay with me.

Every month a free newspaper comes out called Jax4Kids, and last month it listed about 50 holiday events around the area. It's basically become my day planner. Are you free December 4th? Hang on, lemme check the Christmas events schedule...

Anyways, last night was the annual Jacksonville Christmas tree lighting ceremony at The Landing (on St. John's river) with an orchestra, choirs, Jacksonville's own American Idol "finalist" (excuse me that I had never heard of him), fireworks, and of course SANTA to flip the switch!

Here's a 'before' picture. I don't know what happened to the lighting in our family picture; it looks like Bill and I were photoshopped in :)

Notice the pic of the choir singing, and the lady dancing off to the side... she was the drunk hippie who had to be told by police to sit down...

5...4...3...2...1!

William liked the fireworks...
